KU Leuven staff participated to the “Industry 4.0 Summit”

This february, KU Leuven staff participated to the “Industry 4.0 Summit” in Manchester UK. The event proved to be a great source of inspiration for both the UK industry and general participants!

Some case studies and good practices from this years “Industry 4.0 Summit” in Manchester even found their way into the SMeART! book chapter on “Training”: use of augmented and virtual reality for training, gamification, etc. are being developed and used to take the quantum leap towards I4.0 !

An excellent overview of technologies “in the pipeline” was provided by companies and universities from several EU countries – no Brexit in sight here …
